PTFA - Get Involved

There are many ways that you can get involved with the WASPs and all the roles and positions are open to all Willesley parents and carers.

  • You can volunteer for a role on the board or as an event chair. These roles take up more time than that of an ad-hoc volunteer but really are extremely rewarding.
  • You can come along to our meetings which are held 5 times a year. At these meetings we discuss our plans for the year, any upcoming events and give those that attend the chance to put forward their ideas and suggestions.
  • How about becoming a Busy Bee? These are people who want to help out regularly but can't commit to coming to the meetings or taking on a board or chair role. Busy Bees really are the backbone of our events and if you would like to be one, simply drop a quick email to ashbywillesleywasps@hotmail.co.uk and we can add you to our list of 'go to' volunteers. There are lots of different roles that Busy Bees carry out - from setting up events to baking cakes through to manning stalls, having great ideas and buying event supplies from Costco - there really is something for everyone.
  • We're also always on the look out for WASPs that can source prizes or goodies for our events - if this is your thing then please do get in touch.

Whether you just want to dip your toe in the water or jump right in, you will be given a warm WASPs welcome!
