 Clubs Survey

Clubs and Activities Survey

Following feedback from our school Parents’ Forum, the Governing Body, are reviewing the current offering of school activities and clubs, with the aim of improving the variety and availability of activities/clubs that the children can take part in.  This review will look at activities/clubs we can provide during the school day, as well as after school clubs.  If we are unable to provide these, we will look to find the links to external providers.

To help us start looking at this we need to know your thoughts and ideas on the activities/clubs your child(ren) currently participate in or would like to be involved in if they were made available.

Please could you complete this short survey (https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/willesleyclubs) as honestly as possible. We have created a starting list of activities, but if there are any activities you would be interested in that are not listed please add them. The list provided in the survey is a generic list and we can’t make any promises that we will be able to set these all up, but where there is sufficient demand we will explore the options and viability. This is not in any way a guarantee, or confirmation that these activities/clubs will run. If there are any other activities or clubs that you/your child would be interested in, please add them – they are important to us. We have purposely listed many activities that may not have been previously available just to help prompt you for ideas that could be investigated.

On completion of the survey, where there has been a sufficient interest in an activity/club, we will explore the options and viability.

We are also very interested to hear from any parents or family members who would be able to support run an activity/club.  To run the activities/clubs we will need volunteers.

Some of clubs will have negligible costs and could be run for free: others that require professional tuition, specialist equipment and additional resources will incur participation costs, so it will be helpful to gain an awareness of people’s appetite to pay where necessary.

If you have more than one child at the school, please complete a separate survey for each.

If you are unable to access the online survey, please ask for a paper copy from the school office.

Yours sincerely

Chris Stevens - Governor
