I have been a staff governor since 2012, until last year, when due to a change in the structure of the Governing Body, I became a Co-opted Governor.
My three children and two granddaughters all attended Willesley School and I have worked here as an LSA since 1987, working in all year groups throughout the school with various children with different needs and as a general classroom assistant. I have seen many changes to the school in this time and am was excited to be involved in the latest developments as the school converted to an academy as part of the Symphony Learning Trust.
Having left university with a BSc (Hons) Biological Science, I worked for a while in quality control in the brewing Industry before leaving to raise my family.
Currently, I work in Year 6 and am able to bring my knowledge of the school and the local area to the Governing Body. I am committed to supporting the Governing Body to continue to develop an excellent learning environment which enables all children to achieve their full potential.
