My name is Lydia and I am a new parent governor at Ashby Willesley. My son is currently in KS1.

I graduated from Bath Spa University in 2003 with a BA (Hons) and PGCE. I began my teaching career in a large local primary school before moving on to a Deputy Headship in Loughborough in 2008. I became a SENDCo in 2008 and gained the National Award for SENDCos in 2012. I also work with the Deaf and have gained my Level 3 qualification in British Sign Language.

I am currently SENDCo at 3 local Primary schools and it is a role I absolutely love!

I attended Willesley myself as a child and I have enjoyed seeing the school grow! I am extremely excited about this new role.
