PTFA - Ashby Willesley Parent, Teacher and Friend Association

Ashby Willesley Parent Teacher and Friend Association

Ashby Willesley PTFA are a group of volunteers that organise and run various events and fundraisers across the school’s academic year.

All parents, carers, grandparents and relatives of Willesley pupils are more than welcome to join, the more members the PTFA have, the more scope there is for hosting varied events throughout the year. Volunteering can mean helping out at events, attending meetings, suggesting ideas for fundraisers and events, and helping to set up, or prep for events. There is no minimum or maximum requirement, just doing what you can is incredibly helpful.

In the past, we have raised money for equipment for school including iPads, PE equipment, and we have recently funded new sheds for playground storage. We also fund a leavers’ event for year 6 each year, and are now looking to fund equipment for the playground that the children can benefit from.

Being involved in Ashby Willesley PTFA is a lovely way to get to know other parents and relations, become part of the Willesley community, and host events that enable us to provide experiences and equipment for the children. All in all, a great way to get involved with school.
